There is a second private bedroom with a queen bed and a set of bunks off the living area. The patio opens to the outside of the building with a view of the park and the surrounding mountains.   We stayed for a long weekend, family of four and had a great time. We had a late check-in and checked in unassisted. There was a note on the office door, informing us how to access the apartment. I would suggest an email a day or two before arrival explaining check-in procedures and more information on the property. There were some minor issues upon check-in, but those were quickly sorted out the next morning. This unit is older and could do with a thorough cleaning. Some dishes were dirty, but we ran everything through the dishwasher before using it. I understand this is expected to be cleaned by guests, so not the fault of housekeeping, although I would recommend housekeeping checks on that before arrivals. The mattresses are very firm; great for people who like a solid bed. The water pressure is great and the bathroom is a comfortable size. Great to have a kitchen and the porch is nice, some chairs to sit on the porch would be a nice touch. We swam a few days and the water temperature was a bit chilly, so I suspect the 'heated pool', means heated by sunlight and cover. Janet and Billy are awesome and very helpful. We had a good time and will stay at this location again.
