The loft is open and is semi-private from the downstairs living area. The balcony overlooks the park, the east end of town with a view of the surrounding mountains.   When we arrived at our vacation rental the home ended up having some busted pipes and we could not stay there. I called lifts west to see if by any chance they had a spare room because we were kinda stranded. They were able to provide a very nice room and were kind enough to give us a discount because of our unfortunate situation. We have stayed there before and will stay again.
