Location: Situated just a short stroll from the river and within walking distance of most local gift shops and restaurants. Condo 217 is ideally located next to Brandenburg park and the Red River Conference center. During the summer, the park buzzes with events almost every weekend, adding to the lively atmosphere. Activities: whether you are here for relaxation or adventure, Red River has something for everyone. Summer: There is fishing, hiking, white water rafting, horseback riding, ATV riding and Jeep tours. Winter: Ski our beautiful mountains. # 217 is within walking distance to Platinum and Copper Lifts, or go snowmobiling, cross country skiing, sledding or other winter activities in the surrounding snow covered mountains.   This condo has a nice loft area for sleeping with access to a full bath, which to our kids delight had a jacuzzi tub. The seating at the table was for 4, as was the bar with an additional extra two folding chairs which were bar height in the closet. The bar stools were the perfect height for the eating space on the balcony, which was our favorite place to enjoy meals, because the view was of the city playground and the mountains in the background. Billy at the front desk was very prompt to help us with the pool and answering our questions about where to find things around town. The laundry room on site was clean and reasonably priced. During our summer stay we had plenty of fans to keep our space cooled off. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking things. I appreciated the ice trays in the freezer and the good job done by the dishwasher, as we ate about 2/3 of our meals in the condo. The addition of a handful of board games and puzzles were well loved. We found the town community hall, thanks to a hand out near the front desk and enjoyed the family friendly activities they offered. We also found the town library, where residents and visitors alike can check out books, thanks to the tourist mag near the front desk. The red school house museum, a ride up the ski lift, and a handful of shops in town were some of the things we enjoyed. A few of the more adventurous of our group enjoyed some afternoon and morning hikes. We were in town for the Red River Family Encampment, which was a wonderful time and left our afternoons open for adventures. The distance from home and the conflict with other regular summer activities means we won't plan to come back every summer, but if we bring the same size group we will try to stay at 217, and if Billy is still at Lifts West we will trust him to fit us with another great place if 217 doesn't work out.

  Billy is great and helps us find the right Condo for our family. We have stayed for many years and stayed in at least 5 different Condos in Lifts West. Some are in need of updating; but Condo 217 this year was by far the nicest Condo of all. We loved it!!

  We arrived at Lifts West unscheduled as the previous night our weeks' rental home heating was broken and we'd spent a COLD night and needed a new place to stay! This unit was available and what a lovely place it is! The owners have pride of ownership, it's clean, well equipped, and of course convenient for skiing! Loved the park trees covered in the holiday lights that are viewable from the windows too!
